Exhibition.

The Seweryn Udziela Ethnographic Museum of Kraków, 9 May - 15 June 2014

"In this project, the Museum becomes home, home becomes a museum, fiction becomes a document and document - fiction."

Curated by Katarzyna Szydłowska-Schiller and Konrad Schiller.

Coordination Ewa Rossal.

Part of Kraków Photo Fringe 2014.

The exhibition was staged in three gallery rooms and included large format film projection (video loop with sound of continual footage filmed via a mobile phone held outside of the window of an older style "high speed" train on the Kraków-Warsaw route), drawing-based screen prints (portraits, archival shooting targets replicas), drawings, large format photographic prints including enlargements from obscure images from my family album, filmmaking handbook, and digitally manipulated archival film stills (Fritz Lang's Frau Im Mond), hand-made image transfers, screen-printed abstracted google maps, museum display cabinets containing drawings, mono-prints, semi-narrative snapshot multiples, document copies, my own, and other family's memorabilia found in the Museum's archive, elements of everyday equipment (such as, oversized wooden storage boxes arranged in a barrier type installation) and artefacts from the collection of The Seweryn Udziela Ethnographic Museum of Kraków.
